Talking and reflecting are positive tools to process complex times, whilst considering a way forward in a safe and therapeutic manner. The therapy I offer is varied, dependent upon need, and includes the use of different modalities (therapy types) in order to meet individual requirements.

About me and my practice
I base my work on individual need, with flexible working patterns. I offer face to face, online and phone call sessions and these are offered during the day and evenings. I deliver sessions from my own therapy room.

Experience
I have always had a passion to support others and worked for many years in a youth work management capacity, supporting the more vulnerable and disadvantaged young people and their families in many areas. This offered me a great opportunity to fulfil a rewarding profession in supporting individuals to grow and develop both emotionally and socially.
Following this, I then worked for many years as a behaviour specialist working with children at risk of exclusion from education. Again, this role enabled me to develop more skills in supporting emotional well-being and reflecting on behaviour, which I have developed through additional training over the past ten years. Whilst, completing this role I then started to conduct more 1:1 work with children and continued further study in counselling therapy.
I now run my own business working with children, adults, families and couples and have recently decided to set up my own therapy room to enhance further my service to others. This complements my work in schools and my teaching.

Initial Consultation
The first session enables the client to discuss their needs at their own pace - without any expectations from me. There will be no commitment to continue after this session, that would be the clients choice.
Fees
Session prices vary - starting at £40 - and increasing for couples etc. I offer concessionary rates if required.
